Xperia arc NeweggToday is Black Friday in the United States, the best day of the year to grab a bargain. Well it seems like there’s a great deal on the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, with Newegg selling the handset sim-free for just $319.99 (€242, £207) delivered. Seems like a fab deal in our eyes for what is one of the nicest looking Android phones on the market. Be quick though as it will be back to $370 tomorrow!

ah – I see it in my inbox.

This is disappointing news, as I don’t trust Google with my data and don’t want them to have my data. Sony Ericsson are becoming over-reliant on Google IMO. I would rather companies like SE stood up more to Google to keep them in check.

  • Sigh. Would rather have a Arc S on sale…. This is like so many Black Friday ‘deals’ — we have this old model and you can have it discounted…. before we write it off totally and try to sell it for $99. It’s like the Apple black friday deals, is $25 or $50 off a real bargain on stuff that’s overpriced to begin with?  Lenovo was selling ALL of their stuff at 50% and you could stack coupons on top, with 53% off common.

Google would be a safer data container considering recent PSN hack comedy :P
