Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa’ sample pictures appear

i think specification will be same only chipset will be S4 , like arc and arc s , nothing special ..

 actually, despite the “mediocre” adreno 225 gpu, benchmarks based on the htc one S already kick ass. plus, it’s still a huge leap from the S3 chip the xperia S is using, not just in terms of performance, but also energy efficiency.

the writing on the keyboard is in Japanese, so i guess only in japan for now lol 

what about chipset optimization, Sony did an outstanding job with Xperia S running S3 chipset which leave HTC earlier model (same chipset) in dust.

actually yes, S(E) have always done great job squeezing the last out of their handsets’ processors. S(E) phones always run better compared to others (including but not limited to HTC) despite having identical chipset. AFAIK the xperia S is actually more responsive compared to the sensation series, and the xperia has way higher pixel count!

so even if this new handset launches with the S4 dual core chip with adreno 225, it WILL still be awesome. based on the xperia S vs sensation comparison, sony’s qualcomm s4 phone will probably be much better than the one S.

Is it true that this Hayabusa is the next gen of Xperia Play?  I thought it will be the next Flagship model to take over Xperia S?

If it is next next gen Xperia Play, then I am definitively not wait any longer in buy the Xperia S once my contract is due end of the month.

actually i agree that these pictures kinda suck. colour rendition and contrast are way off. and the images are too small to check for details or noise levels.

but then again, give it the benefit of the doubt. this phone is not even announced yet, let alone released. everything is obviously still a work in progress. i’m sure things will be much better if and when things get official next time.

not just that, pics uploaded on picasa are always hugely compressed ones uploaded from under development prototypes
i still remember how much the pics uploaded by under development arc sucked while the retail version of the phone just rocked!!!
