in Rumours, Xperia - Japan Models

A new Sony Xperia model is rumoured to be heading to NTT DoCoMo in Japan. The specs of the Xperia SX (SO-05D) codenamed Komachi has leaked on a number of Japanese blogs. The Xperia SX would follow the Xperia NX (Xperia S equivalent) and rumoured Xperia GX (Sony LT29i ‘Hayabusa’).

Reports point to a handset with a 3.7-inch qHD (540 x 960) display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset), 8GB ROM, 1GB RAM and 1500mAh battery. The Xperia SX looks like it will be destined for NTT DoCoMo in Japan only. It will therefore support its Xi LTE service. It will also include Japanese features such as infrared, One-Seg tuner and Felica NFC. Release date remains an unknown for now.
