Xperia U and Xperia sola now in sale in Hong Kong and Taiwan

The Sony Xperia U and Xperia sola have gone in sale in parts of Asia. Both handsets are available in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The Xperia U went on sale yesterday at a recommended price of HK$2,498 (€246) in Hong Kong and NT$9,900 (€259) in Taiwan.

The black and white variants of the Xperia sola are on sale for HK$2,998 (€295) in Hong Kong and NT$10,900 (€285) in Taiwan (the red version is expected to arrive later). The Xperia P will arrive in the middle of May with a price point in Taiwan of NT$13,800 (€360). These are the first regions to launch the handsets, the Xperia P and Xperia U are expected to launch from the middle of May in Europe and towards the end of May in the UK.

    I hate being an SE user in the US. No matter what SE phones come out here usually 4-5 months after international launch. Same applies to the SW updates :(

    Since when ion lte for world wide release?? The other one version of ion release for taiwan only. Not promising for world wide release. It “will” be only.

    Xperia S, P, U and even Sola are all already on-sale in Mainland-China. I just love my black Xperia S (rooted).
    Every time I light-up my phone, during not a very bright day or during evening, I just love to see how my transparent bar lights-up. Feels so damn premium comparing with my previous Arc S~ really love Xperia’s design (S, P and U only..not Sola)

     restore it, use recovery, or PC companion / Sony Ericsson Update Service (know as SEUS).

    you are not specific about it being “hacked”, is it rooted only? or does it have a custom rom or even kernel?

    anyway, if it is not bricked, you should be able to restore to stock rom, and start over…

    search in the XDA forums, they are your friends XD

    indonesian market. According to one of famous online shop in indonesia,
    Xperia U has price 2.74 million rupiahs (or about US$ 297).

    Xperia S, Sola & U are some recent milestone of Sony. I have Sony Xperia S and i am happy to have it. The features and design are quiet appealing. Marvelous device and you wrote a good info for these phones. Weldone keep it up!!!
