Xperia go coming to UK in July

One of the largest UK mobile retailers, The Carphone Warehouse, has pegged the Sony Xperia go (ST27i) release date for July 2012. When the Xperia go was recently announced all we had was a vague ‘Q3 2012’ launch date. We still haven’t seen the Xperia go on pre-order in the UK so pricing remains a mystery, however we expect it to be between £250-£300 on launch.

The rugged Xperia go will have a 3.5-inch (320 x 480) scratch-resistant mineral glass display capable of wet finger tracking. It will be armed with a 1GHz dual-core ST-Ericsson NovaThor chipset, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage (4GB user accessible) and a microSD memory card slot. Other features include a 1305mAh embedded battery and 5MP camera capable of 720p video recording.
