Sony’s Cosmic Flow wallpaper/theme was introduced with the company’s 2012 Xperia range. If you’ve grown quite attached to the striking designs you can now use them on your desktop too. xda-developer user DdcCabuslay created eight different coloured designs, using the Xperia GX wallpaper leak from earlier, to create 1920 x 1080 resolution images of the wallpaper. You can download the full package of eight wallpapers here.

Go into the Live-Wallpaper-Picker as always. Select Cosmic Flow. In this moment you get a preview of the wallpaper. You can select “OK” but also “settings”. Go into the settings and there it is!

I don’t know can you do this on Linux or Mac, but on Windows, you can set wallpaper as “centered” and then choose black background. That way you can get it to fit 4:3 or 5:4 screens beautifully. Alternatively, you can edit it, adding black padding on bottom and top, and then setting is as wallpaper.
