Sony Tablet P not getting Android Jelly Bean?

in Android, Sony Tablet

Rumours are surfacing that the Sony Tablet P will unfortunately not be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Apparently Sony says that the reason behind the decision is down to weak sales of the clamshell tablet. Good news for Tablet S owners though, as an update to Jelly Bean is being planned according to TabletGuide.nl. Hopefully, we’ll have official word on Sony’s Android tablet plans soon.

I want the new ir remote app for my tablet S. Like the one which will feature with the new Xperia Tablet

the reason behind weak sales was poor marketing strategy and its not available world wide (only limited countries) Sony when you will learn how to sell and promote your promising product? when its lime light is over? (do not delay the Shipment of Xperia V or else it will be outshine by another company and it will become another non-selling xperia handset)
