Sony Mobile has launched the second TV advert from phase two of its ‘Made of Imagination’ marketing campaign. If you remember back in September Sony released its first TV advert focusing on one-touch listening with the Xperia NXT series. This new ad is for the Sony Xperia T (LT30p) and highlights one-touch sharing of pictures from phone-to-phone via NFC. The advert is due to air this weekend in the UK.

  • Here’s hoping to the camera is as fast as shown! Xperia S autofocus still sucks and if there is no autofocus problem in Xperia T then the autofocus problem in Xperia S can definitely be resolved! :/

I saw the phone yesteday in a T-Mobile shop. It was put in display amongst huge Skyfall posters and in it’s own dedicated place. Really good display. In comparison the iPhone 5 seemed almost pushed aside.
However I was bitterly disappointed. The design looked so cheap to me. My personal feeling was that the Tipo right next to it looked actually more expensive. Very unfortunate selection of materials and design for a flagship. The rear plastic seems so hard and rough, like some stone. There were also right next to it the three NXTs (S,P,U) and they all looked so much more precisely done and classier… Such a shame…

Wish they made it out if same materials as the Ion.

    anything on the TX???

Stop using cheap plastic for flagships, sony, and stop using hipsters for ads. Make fun of them instead, and maybe you would start selling as many phones as samsung.

Dude i was about to buy the xperia T but after reading this kind of comments, I just regret to have not bought a SGS3 damn it !!!

  • domiboy7

    gs3 uses cheap plastic also

  • papakp

    very nice

  • kratos

that’s true, but sgs users look less disappointed than sony’s users, i don’t want to buy a pricy smartphone just because it is new! I want a reliable, powerful and tough, you know what i mean?

  • Feanor

Well it does look powerful and tough. It just doesn’t look particularly good. :-(

  • domiboy7

well it beat the gs3 in benchmarks and it looks better, so the people that are mad have not even used the phone yet and are probably just trolls

  • sounds way too expensive

  • one-touch share…probably the feature that’ll get used the least! can’t wait to lay hands on this phone (no offence, Feanor)

For my part, I like the S design, but the T’s processor, weight, GPU and display!
So i just don’t get it, why Sony didn’t make an SL with the T specifications?
So now i don’t know if i have to buy the S (is it a good smartphone better than the sgs2?) or the T !!!

  • You can buy xperia ion, then I buy Xperia V which using the cheap plastic. But I think the sony’s plastic you said is not cheap one.
