First Xperia V (LT25i) firmware certified by PTCRB

in Firmware, Xperia V

Now that the Sony Xperia V (LT25i) is beginning to become available internationally, we have seen the first firmware version (9.0.D.0.457) certified by the PTCRB. However, it looks like a newer firmware version (9.0.D.0.484) is actually hitting handsets so the PTCRB website probably hasn’t been updated for this new version.

These firmware versions (9.0.D.0.XXX) relate to Android 4.0.4, we know that Jelly Bean firmware will be denoted by 9.1.A.0.XXX firmware when it is released next year.

  • Sony should focus releasing the device globally first! Really now, they’re late already.

There are countries (in Europe as well) still waiting for the Xperia V to become available but they’re releasing updates already..
