As far as the galaxies keep using exynos chipsets and SONY snapdragon, Xperias will always be superior and better than those ugly-iphoned samsung devices.

The only advantage the S IV will have is the exynos processors. Other than that there is no difference and only a very very small number of people care about benchmarks.

I’ll pass my judgement when i actually see it, but if the leaked dimensions are correct the odin is going to be a feat of modern engineering. (i have no doubt Sony can pull off something like this) the textured back idea i like, even though I’ve fallen for the soft touch plastic (had doubts at first but I’m a believer now) and the front facing camera doesn’t really bother me cause i never use it anyway.

yes, but they go on and on crowing how powerful a device is. and that convinces a lot of people to buy the “fastest” “gazillion core” “more Megapixels” “retina” out there. people don’t care for those stats – but they want the same more-mega-core-pixel cameras & phones nevertheless.

there’s a reason they build flagships, and sony better pay attention to it. even if its for 2 months – create a buzz that you have the fastest device – customers will follow.

no body should worry about benchmark pass S4 generation, because it has more than enough juice to handle 720p; but only 30 fps in 1080p when you do tv out. With Yuga or Odin we are talking about 1080p 60 fps. So hardware performance matters again, its like entering a new gen. So far the HTC 1080p phones performance are fine with the S4 pro, just not so good with battery life. Nexus 10 performance was a beast but the battery life is very mediocre, so I guess they might have down clock the exynos 5 for S4, quad core version is probably out of the question.
