The Sony Xperia E dual (C160X) is now available to order in the UK. Retailer Handtec has both black and gold variants of the handset in stock for £155.99. It doesn’t seem widely available across other retailers yet, but then again we’re not sure how well stocked the dual-variant of the handset will be in the UK. We expect a bigger push for the single-sim Xperia E (C150X).

Is it worth to upgrade from tipo dual to this? and will it upgradable to jelly bean? Btw I don’t see any physical button for changing between sim’s on this phone.. Coz I feel that button pretty handy on tipo dual..

  • Dude, it’s not a good idea to talk about this here. It is a better idea to contact them privately. ;) If you scroll to the bottom, there is an Advertise link to the right of the footer.

I also wonder if this will be updated to Jelly Bean. It’s so bizarre that the almost identical Xperia E is listed as running Jelly Bean out of the box and this doesn’t.

They released it with ICS because dual sim functionality is well tested in Tipo Dual. After fixing glitches, this will be first JB dual sim from SONY.
