Xperia Z gets root

in Xperia Z and Xperia ZL

The Sony Xperia Z has already been rooted thanks to DooMLoRD over at xda-developers. It was achieved by modifying Chainfire’s CF-Auto-Root for the Nexus 4. DooMLoRD managed to root the device remotely as he doesn’t own the Xperia Z just yet, however Xperia Z owners of both C6602 (HSPA+) and C6603 (LTE) handsets have confirmed it works. An unlocked bootloader is a pre-requisite, but hopefully by the time the handset sees a wider release there’ll be a solution for those with locked bootloaders too.

Via xda-developers.

Thanks Wael!

in short, root is to get more optimize our phone rather than locked on, we can manage whole system, mod what we like, delect sth in system and even destroy ur phone. :D most android user do it, included me. xda developer, u don’t kno it? it’s where to get how to do that & modding, also fast supporting.

rooting android such like jailbreak ios but just wider at all. enjoy ur android! :)

If you don’t know it, you shouldn’t need it though.
Also, it’s easier to use Google than to wait for a well written response here.
