Xperia Tablet Z (Pollux) will have C6907 model number; Wi-Fi only?

There is a good chance that the Sony Xperia Tablet Z will see a formal western announcement at MWC, which starts on Monday. We previously revealed that the tablet has the codename ‘Pollux’ and C690X model number. We now understand that the exact model number will be C6907.

If you’re wondering what the ’7′ stands for, it means that this will be a Wi-Fi only model, rather than sporting LTE that the Japanese model has. At this stage we don’t know if a LTE-enabled Xperia Tablet Z is planned for a western release, hopefully we’ll hear more next week.

I will get this tablet as soon as it’s out. I already sold my Sony tablet S.

Can anyone confirm or deny whether Sony will even be at this years’s MWC?

A tablet with 3G/LTE is pointless for me. So yes, please, SONY.

I’d be OK with a WiFi only version, as I only use my tablet at home. So yes, Pleeeeaaaase give us the Tablet Z! Really looking forward to that!

Why does it have C6XXX model number? Why not C8XXX/C9XXX instead?
Is the first number represent the chipset?

With the Z phone coming in at nearly 700 bucks anyone want to venture a guess at how much the tablet will cost?? I’m hoping for 499 or less….
