There has been much speculation on whether the Sony Xperia Z (C660X) will make its way Stateside. Rumours currently point to the fact that a C6606 SKU may be in the works for T-Mobile that will support the necessary LTE bands for North America.
However, if you’re in the US and are not worried about LTE support, then you may be interested to hear that Best Buy is stocking the unlocked European LTE version of the Xperia Z (C6603). It’s not cheap though, setting you back $899. If you’re not bothered about your handset being water resistant, you want to go for the Xperia ZL instead, which is a cheaper $760 in the Sony Store and will give you the right LTE support too.
