New LT30p firmwareA very minor firmware update (9.1.A.1.141) has been certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia T (LT30p, LT30a) and Xperia TX (LT29i). Whilst it hasn’t appeared for the Xperia V yet, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it arrive at some point. The firmware version is likely to be a very minor update over the current Jelly Bean firmware (version number 9.1.A.1.140) for these handsets.

New LT30p firmware

Thanks Silas!

Where’s Jelly Bean for Xperia S??? Sorry, I just had too! Ha! It’s a tradition now. :-) I don’t even have an Xperia™ S lol!

    Smarty pants… lol

    Another update already? That’s quick!

  • cukfnyso

I am sick of these useless updates ! So many problems with my T since the JB. This used to be a nice, smoothly running phone on ICS and now I am so sorry that I paid 500 euro for it !

  • Paul

While I agree with you about the bugs, I’m glad these bug fixes are being released. That’s better than leaving the bugs to remain!

I lost my xperia s and i told myself that i want buy anymore sony phone because of their support but i changed my mind i would like to get xperia t how is the softawre is it ok somone help me about… ?

  • XperiaTX

One of the worst bugs is the Xperia T/TX randomly restarts during calls now. Sony refuses to acknowledge and deal with this serious problem.

I bought TX 2 days ago, JB update is really great!, I’m very pleased. Just that the Bluetooth sometime turn on by itself :S

jb on tx,9.1.b.0.411 battery life is really bad, barely 12 hrs on standard usage, 16 on minimal usage, but you can improve to over 24 hrs on standard, TURN OFF LOCATION SERVICES, which will turn off google now, but it improves battery by 50%, much much better than buggy ics on my tx, anyone has issues with jb or is jb worse than ics

  • Arokhantos

Maybe its the petition that woke them up.

  • Xyor

I want to know if they’re even going to change that damn stupid lockscreen which has a huge black strip in the bottom. Can’t I just have the one that Z is having.

  • APai

true. i never noticed it until happened in the middle of a call, I was like WTF was that about ? I started taking note of the uptime, and indeed it does reboot on its own randomly, not many times a day, but sometimes for me. last few weeks the phone has been up for a maximum of 4 days.

  • APai

I agree, they are at least trying to fix the bugs. but the central point is why release so many phones in quick succession if you cannot support it ? release phones, as many as you want – ONLY if you can support it.

  • Arokhantos

You known your not only one with device from sony, heck sony has many android devices that suffer similar bugs that you been experiencing, its nice to known ICS was bug free for you now go tell that over sony mobile forums where the devs actualy read and fix things.
Because they can’t fix it if they don’t known about the bugs you experience.

  • Arokhantos

Demonstrate it record video get everyone to confirm that they have same issue get them together reporting that they have same issue on their forum, no way they can ignore it they have to investigate it and fix it.
Anyway that sounds like very anoying bug even more anoying then the random shutdowns on xperia tablet s which where triggered by video playback, which could be avoided if you stop using video playback.

You could probably avoid it asswell not calling but thats not viable solution, heck why probably even more anoying.

Anyway i sugest posting about it on sony mobile forums, nag if you have to don’t give up make sony look like fools proof the issue actualy exist.
Don’t give them an excuse to slack of.
They fixed random shutdown issues within a month or even 2 weeks when issue was reported on xperia z.

You should’t need to wait several month’s for a fix.

  • XperiaFran

Which is better T, TX or TL??

    Waiting for the V

  • Arokhantos

Its at sony’s secret HQ good luck finding it.

    TX!

  • Jerry Berglund

I really dont think thats true. At least your phone gets fixes. Xperia T gotten several updates allready. I think it got two bug-fixes during GB, and now it got two more under JB. So they do acknowledge your problems. But there are phones that just got 2 updates one of those is a bug-fix. I dont have to tell wich phones I am talking about.

I’ve never experienced this random reboot that people are on about??? I recently updated to the 91A1140 update about 10 days ago had no problems. I did a full clean install tho! Phone is smoother and faster to me!

  • SXperia

    Xperia T, great phone.

  • Amjed Ali

I think we the TX & T owners Feel a bit spoiled. I hope Sony Concentrate on S More Rather Than Us.

Was experiencing sod on my t, nothing since the last update, but will do a clean install if it continues. Have heard that sometimes a clean install or two fixes a lot of issues.

I have no problems with my T and I have it since october last year. The last JB update fixed many bugs like walkman bug and improved battery life.
I have no performance problems, restarts, shutdowns or something like that.
