The likelihood of the Xperia Z coming to the United States looks ever stronger, after the C6606 variant of the handset (with compatible bands for North America) passed through the FCC. The FCC documents also included a T-Mobile branded user manual, confirming recent speculation that the carrier is at least testing the device.
We still don’t know for sure if T-Mobile will end up carrying the device, but we hope if it does, it reveals its plans soon. The handset has already been on sale in other regions for over two months now and the smartphone race stops for no one. We’re sure the phone will have an audience though, given its sleek design and water resistant features. Still, let’s hope the phone is released sooner rather than later.
