Sony officially unveiled the Xperia C (S39h, C2305) yesterday for the Chinese market. The specs are no surprise given our reveal earlier in the week, but as a reminder the Xperia C sports a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960) display, 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 chipset with IMG SGX544 graphics, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage and dual SIM capability (WCDMA and GSM).
Other features include an 8MP Exmor R rear camera, VGA front-facing camera and 2330mAh battery capacity. The Xperia C has dimensions of 141.5 x 74.15 x 8.88 mm and weighs 153 grams. It will be available exclusively through China Unicom in three colours (black, purple and white).
Sony also announced another variant of the Xperia SP for China Mobile, with model number M35t. The handset is Sony’s first to support China Mobile’s 4G TD-LTE smartphones. The rest of the specs are no different to the original Xperia SP.
