in Firmware, Sony Tablet

Screenshot_2013-10-04-06-26-43The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has finally started to receive the latest firmware update (10.3.1.A.2.67) that recently started to roll out to other Xperia Z series devices including the Xperia Z, ZL and ZR. Sony said that the update brings “display, camera, battery fixes & performance tweaks“. The update only appears to be live for the LTE version of the Xperia Tablet Z (SGP321), so Wi-Fi owners will have to sit tight for a little longer.

    old news
    waiting for .74 update now

  • Vitali

why the UI look like in a phone? i mean the action bar and the virtual buttons looks like a UI for a phone.. the tablet z has a different design for tablet no?…

  • Mr. X

Sony UI Should Be Redesigned! I think the UI of the Kindle Fire HD still looks much better and easier to use.

It’s been the same layout for both ever since 4.2.2

  • ChrisH

How about update, 4.2/ 4.3, for the Xperia Tablet S? The Tablet is just 1 jear old and Sony has confirmed to update there devices for 18 Month

  • Anon

The original tablets where by Sony VAIO, not Sony Mobile. Hence why they’ve been dropped.

  • Tech Gospel

    Just finished the update! :D

  • Shehab Khaled

what’s new ??? have the lags in the sliding in home screen gone

  • Sanoj

    Quickly launch 4.3 update

  • Brad Williams

Still no joy for Xperia Z (C6603) phone here in Australia. :(

  • Babylonbwoy

Not Sony’s fault, Google wanted to harmonize both mobile and tablet UI

  • Babylonbwoy

It should not be a problem, with their One Sony BS…

  • Vitali

still… i dont like it.. I like how it was before…

  • Ambroos

Hardly any difference. Updates that follow so short after eachother are almost always region-specific bugfixes.

  • Babylonbwoy

    me too

  • Thiago

Really? I prefer the way it is right now. It’s easier to use and I do not get confuse when I’m using the mobile.

  • Vitali

i think its much more comfortable to do the virtual buttons in the left side.. and it’s even not showing how many battery percent there is… really?…….

    very bad choice!!

Because Google made Android 4.2 that way. Sony can’t do anything about it.
