Sony BRH10 Bluetooth Remote with Handset Function_3Another of Sony Mobile’s new accessories announced last week at MWC in Barcelona was the BRH10 Bluetooth Remote with Handset Function. This dual-function device can be used as a remote control for your smartphone or tablet as well as an ultra-light mini handset with speakerphone function for easy calling.

You can also use Google Voice Search to make calls, search the web, or activate certain functions. The BRH10 remote will come with its own dedicated Android app (currently not live), which includes a ‘find remote’ function if your remote gets lost. The BRH10 remote features Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, micro USB charging via a table stand, an RGB LED indicator and is also water resistant (IP57 certified). If you want to see a quick hardware tour of the remote, check out the video below.

  • What Sony needs now is a dock for a dock.

  • Mac

The question is if you’ll get it included or have to buy it separately?

This little thing will prove to be very useful!

Neat gadget. Too bad it doesn’t have a tiny monochrome OLED on the face or side…

  • Paul M

They should make something like that and merge it with the SBH52

    and it needs aptX too.

  • Chris

Why Sony does not add headphone function to it? I will not buy it just because it can’t be used as a headphone?

  • AsadMulla

    samsung lost focus. lol shitsung

  • inspire

Why does GSMarena never highlights sony accessories, pre orders schedules and promotion videos like they do for Samsung extensively?

  • Danny

  • Tjaldid

but seriously they should try to make an all in one dock I don’t see people having 6 of these all stacked up next to eachother

  • Chetan Reddy

Can u link it to a sony bluetooth speaker at the same time as the remote. So you can listen to music from the phone though the speaker and skip though with the remote??

  • Divya Bharathi

Very interesting thing I just come across at – I could choose any number of pants and shirts (from the list) at very heavy discount rates (up to 75% off online) – more we buy more discount – I never seen this before.

I need to know if pressing the right and left navigation keys will skip through songs while the phone screen is off and locked in your pocket or on the dock. If not then it will be useless. The manual has very little information and there’s no video reviews in English. I also want to know how you launch voice search. It’s such an awesome concept but it needs a voice button and better functionality if it doesn’t seek songs.
