Flashtool version 0.9.15.0Flashtool is probably one of the most useful tools for Sony Xperia devices. It was started by Bin4ry from XDA back in the Xperia X10 days. Androxyde has since taken the lead, continuing to update and build the program with help from other devs such as DooMLoRD. It is an essential tool used to install new firmware versions using FTF firmware files.

The latest version of Flashtool (0.9.15.0) is now available to download from the Flashtool site. The update brings support for Sony’s new 2014 Xperia devices. So if you’re planning on buying any of the new devices, including the Xperia Z2, then you should download it now to get yourself ready.

Does it support Windows 8.1 for drivers installation?

  • Julio Spinoza

oh wait… IS FREE!!! thanks developers!!!!

  • Mohammed Khired

    yes , but it’s a long way… maybe not that long ….

1-download the flash tool , install it

2-go to the side bar where u can find :

    settings>Change pc settings>update and recovery>recovery

then choose “restart now” under advanced start up

choose “troubleshoot” (i think i don’t remember exactly)

choose “advance options” , then “startup settings” , then “restart”

choose number 7 “disable driver signature enforcment” , your pc will restart…

3-install the drivers, i assume you know where you can find it , a message will appear like this after u nearly finishing the setup

    click “install blah blah blah…”

and then restart the pc to go back to normal before “disable driver signature enforcment”

This is the Win XP/Vista/7/8 USB-ADB driver for the Z1 C69XX:

    http://singledrivers.blogspot.com/2014/01/sony-xperia-z1-usb-driver-for-windows.html

I tested the driver with my C6903, and works fine.

You must to add manually the hardware, in the control panel, with the driver under the USE DISK option.

This Driver adds the “Sony sa0109 ADB Interface”, now you can to make fastboot and flashtool detects the phone.

    Good luck ^^ people.

Why cant they use a normal download instead of strange services that want money? How hard would it be to put up a torrentfile for download? Come on, it is 2014 not 2004

You can donate if you want? That you should do to support the dev.

Too bad. Well, as I only want to get access to the applications that needs root and being able to flash other features from different devices but keeping the warranty. Also I’m not that much of an expert in rooting I would say. That’s my reason why
