Cyanogenmod 11 Nightlies arrive for the Xperia Z1 Compact

cyanogenmod-logoSony Xperia Z1 Compact owners may be glad to hear that Cyanogenmod 11 (Android 4.4.2 KitKat) nightly builds are now available to download via the official site. Given the ‘nightly’ status, expect a few bugs here and there.

A couple of issues include lag on animations and slow start-up time of the camera. If you want to give CM11 a try then head over to the CyanogenMod website. As with every CyanogenMod ROM, you will need to have an unlocked bootloader for it to work.

I used CM for Xperia NEO, S, Z, Z1C, my decision is |to never install unofficial ROMs, if u’re not on 4.1.2 and lower(only 2010-2012 XPERIAs)| so now I use only Stock odex/deodexed, ’cause these are the best u can get, no lags, better Camera functionality, no fast battery draining like CM(the first thing u’re gonna find out) or something that way…

Very interesting thing I just come across at MyDeals247.com – I could choose any number of jewellery items (from the list) at very heavy discount rates (up to 75% off online) – more we buy more discount – I never seen this before.

The CM Installer only works for certain devices (Nexus and Samsungs I think). You have to load it manually onto your Sony. For that you’ll have to unlock your bootloader. Note that this voids your manufacturer’s warranty. Read the instructions on Cyanogenmod’s website.
