Xperia Z2 Tablet RootThe Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has received ClockworkMod-based Recovery and Root. The Touch Recovery is built from CWM sources. XDA guru DooMLoRD has posted all of the details in the source link below, including instructions and download links.

The main requirement to install this CWM-based Recovery is to have an unlocked bootloader. At the moment, it only works with the 16GB Wi-Fi tablet version (SGP511). DooMLoRD has also posted instructions on how to root the tablet, which requires you to flash the kernel from the source link.

I got the device and it’s great except the display is often pretty unresponsive. Like I click on something with my finger and nothing happens, I then press again more firmly and it respond. But it’s getting pretty annoying. Anyone else has this issue?

I’m wondering if it’s a hardware or software problem, because if it can’t be fixed I’ll return it unfortunately.

Upgrade your Z2 tab to the latest firmware. ;)

The Z2 phone also faced the similar issue, which was completely fixed by the latest firmware. I think they released one for Z2 Tab too!

They haven’t released it yet… I have the same problem. Also, there’s an audio delay in games and Netflix.
