SmartBand SWR10_resultSony Mobile has updated the Lifelog application to version 1.0.A.1.8, which now allows you to install it to tablets. Strangely, it doesn’t seem like Sony has customised the UI for tablets, with the app using the same interface for smartphones.

The SmartBand SWR10 app has also been updated (to build adding the option for multiple smart wake up alarms. User movement sensitivity has also been added for Auto night mode. Both updates are through the available through the Google Play Store.

Thanks @gavinlew and @madaboutandroid!

Multiple smart wake ups are a life saver! I was wondering why hey had only one before.

Wish they’d add SW2 compatibility to LifeLog. No reason the SmartWatch2 can’t perform the same functions as the SWR10.

Have you noticed any connection issues with your smartband? Recently at night after I’ve gone to sleep my band disconnects and for some reason doesn’t track my hours.

  • Arthur Simon

I haven’t really had those issues. Yes, sometimes it might disconnect for some reason, which of course isn’t a good thing, but at least it still collects the data. It just sends them to the phone after reconnecting. But I have noticed that the calorie burn calculation and walking/running calculations are very inaccurate. I basically use it just for sleep data and smart wake up.

I noticed that as well, I fixed it, sort of, by changing the stride from automatic

  • Arthur Simon

Hmmm. Maybe I should do that too :)

  • BruceLeeRoyJenkins

I set it less to what my actually stride is. I rather be a short than have it say I did all this walking when I actually haven’t.

Anyone know when the smartband will be released in Canada? It appears to be in every other country……

  • Mac

My music control is not working as good as before the update..
