Xperia M_15.4.A.1.10_2Who says updates for the Xperia M were dead? After the Xperia M received a new firmware certification back in September for build number 15.4.A.1.10, the update has finally started to roll. However, this might be a carrier-only update – it has only hit Boost Mobile in Australia so far.

This is a very small update, moving the build number from 15.4.A.1.9 to 15.4.A.1.10, so only expect some small bug-fixes. It is currently rolling as a 20.1 MB OTA update, but if you want to try it for yourself you will find the FTF file below for the C1904 Xperia M variant.

Nice to see that although it probably won’t make much of a difference.

    How about XMD /C2005?

  • dimz

Unless there’s some miracle, no. If you have the unbranded version of
C5303 stuck on .205, you can try installing the australian variant of
.207, the only known unbranded variant atm.

Personally, I couldn’t get Flashtool to work, so I rooted my SP and used Xposed to fill in the blanks and fix what Sony won’t.

  • Luca

Yes, i have an unbranded C5303, and once i flashed .207

You know how the Z/ZL users complained abourt overheating? It’s even worse than that. The phone was so hot, when I used GPS for 30 mins battery temperature was 66 degrees Celsius! It was so hot that when I connected it to a charger, not only that it didn’t charge, the battery was still draining. That’s right, it discharged while it was plugged in. The 207 is actually not a bug fix update, it’s just a carrier branded, even more buggy version of 205. It was actually a good thing you couldn’t flash it, you would seriously regret it.
