decent price considering previous pricing from sony

  • Chaturanaga Manchanayake

    They are actually learning.

  • Raj Singh

    FYI…

Vaio’s first ever smartphone seems almost assured to be real now, after two new reports from Japan out retail certification and images of the handset’s packaging.

These headphones look neat but I prefer the SBH80 version…

  • Wolf0491

Hmm think my SBH80 still making me happy. Those seem more noticeable lol. I like how small the front part of sbh80 are.

  • Ryan Kumar-jassi

I think my SBH52 does me well with any choice of headphones with its built in speaker and earpiece I like it goes great with my z2

  • dreamgs1

i will give 1 out 10 for the design for any sony bluetooth headphones. because, if you see videos of these hedphones/earphones, actual wire which connects to earbuds and bluetooth controlling device will get break drown after using it for couple of months. And you will not find any short length wire with ear buds any where. I am facing this issue with mw600. audio quality is good. but after spending huge amount, physical damage will happen for the short wires. Hence the for design i can even give 0 out of 10 based on my experience.

Be careful while you are spending more money on such things.

  • Chetan Reddy

I had sbh 52 for few months… It was really nice considering the features it had…,display to show notifications of whatsapp, message etc..,speaker,fm,and can be used to talk (cool one) but sound output/quality is bit less

Hence I bought Sony mdr ex31bn with digital noise cancelling and I can say this one is excellent outpuy wise.. I am amazed with its quality.

  • crapifiknow

My ears are goofy and I can’t do the buds…..I’m still rocking the Motorola headphones but would love to move up to sony headphones so I can use songpal.

u sir then do not know how to use a stereo bt hs. i own a Smart Wireless Headset pro for the last 2 year since launch.
My friend has Sony Smart Bluetooth Headset SBH52 for a year and we beat the life of the battery everyday. And no we haven’t changed the wires yet.

  • Danny

The SBH70 and the SBH80 seems great. I own the SBH20 and SBH52 myself. I like it, but it needs a bigger battery, so does the 70 and 80 series. The Sony bluetooth headphones, which cost 200 USD looks great, and last up to 20 hours. Problem is, i like earphones more so than headphones.

  • Ryan Kumar-jassi

Can you use those earphones with your sbh52?

  • BruceLeeRoyJenkins

Didn’t the rumors pointed towards a midrange spec device for Vaio and only release in Japan (for now)

  • Sony Mobile is giving us, again, the opportunity to download 3 free movies with the Xperia Z2

  • Raj Singh

    Yes.

  • Chetan Reddy

I had to sell sbh52 to buy new ones…lol…new one is a Bluetooth one with built in noise cancelling and cann be used with any Bluetooth device.the wire itself can be used with z3 as it has noise cancelling feature.

  • Amimanot

Hey, I noticed that when I connected a mouse to my z3c, a new button shows up in the notification shade. Since when did this function exist?

  • Ryan Kumar-jassi

    Thats cool

  • Amel_Marie

I dont have that. Im using z3

  • ZXcorr

I really wish these were in-ear…

  • Tony Lam

should be since Xperia Z Ultra, when you use pencil to touch on the Z Ultra screen, similar thing will be shown

  • I have the sbh80 headset. Its priceless. I can’t wait to get my hands on this when right.

  • RbbrDcky

Don’t those earbuds look like they retract?

  • jag

same question here. are they retractable?

  • dreamgs1

i have also not change but due to unavailability of short length wire. I use every day during travel. I am not complaining about sound quality. My complient is about those thin wires. you won’t get any replacement. and look at above pics.

around neck part is heavy and thin wires are attached.

They last for 1 or 2 years but not more than that. For daily use, cannot guaranty and worst part is no spares avaiable.

  • Harshit Khanna

I noticed your notifications pull down is transparent…
Could you tell me how to get this? And does it require root?
I’m running a Z2 and would really like to get that transparent sort of pull down.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Amimanot

Shouldn’t the button be permanently available then? Because the pencil isn’t electronically connected to the phone. so the phone couldn’t tell whether it’s your hand or a pencil on the screen.

  • Amimanot

Yes, it requires root since it requires the xposed framework. After that you should download the Blurred system ui module and activate it through xposed

  • Paul M

    I think Clove.co.uk ship internationally

  • Paul M

Before I got the SBH-80 I considered the Sol Republic Air headphones, which got good ratings for quality and build, and they have a microphone.

The LG Tones tend to get poor user reviews for reliability, but it’s hard to be sure whether the person accidentally bought a fake because so many LGTs are counterfeit.

  • Simão Lúcio

    Hate in ear

  • Tutzu

It can tell. I flashed a mod on my Xperia Z1 and that appeared whenever I used a pencil. It can appear (On pen-sensitive screens) when the screen notices a touch that it wouldn’t record without the pen thingy active. For example the button appeared for me if I pressed the notification shade with a nail or headphone cord.

  • kazora

this is perfect for exercising, wireless and earpod style to hear the outside world oh yeah..

  • Lee Jia Hui

Even I still in Normal Xperia Lounge(Blue)…

  • May Czos

    Aren’t they?

  • May Czos

How about regular (Jack 3,5mm) waterproof headset with digital noise cancellation?

  • ZXcorr

    These aren’t in-ear. SBH80 earphones are in-ear.

  • May Czos
  • jxPerience

i like the features better than any current sony bluetooth headphones

  • jxPerience

what is the model of this device?

  • jxPerience

i like this type than in-ear (better for ears)

  • Chetan Reddy

    sony mdr ex31bn

  • vignesh

What’s the price of Xperia E4g Dual?

  • phil

    no 3.5mm jack?

One or two years is pretty good, most of my headphones that have not been from Sony haven’t lasted that long. However, my SBH52 has lasted for quite a while now without issues: probably about a year and a half still going.
