“The handset does not appear to differ from the global Xperia Z5 apart from featuring the “au” logo on the rear.” They also changed the NFC logo to the Felica logo like NTTDocomo, but SoftBank will release the global Z5

This is because au does not support NFC, like the international version. It only have Felica.

    Felica IS nfc

With NFCFelica you can use the phone in japan like so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt7ELPhyjGI

    love the dark green one.

FeliCa is a form of NFC, but lets put it this way, AU does not support android beam or other form of NFC payment other than FeliCa. DoCoMo version does.

Oh my god… Those colours made me cry

Especially the green (teal) one….. That looks extraordinarily gorgeous…. :”

  • Alvin

FeLiCa is just like an interpretation of NFC at their ways
