in Android, Firmware, Xperia Z3 series

Sony MMB29M.Z1.3027_3Sony Mobile has updated the Concept for Android Marshmallow firmware to build number MMB29M.Z1.3027-somc. The update fixes a number of bugs for those that had problems with the previous ‘3021’ update. Sony had to halt the previous update after people reported issues with the new Android 6.0.1 firmware.

The new MMB29M.Z1.3027 update is being rolled in batches and introduces a new Clock widget along with a number of bug fixes (startup problems when Google app is disabled is now fixed along with volume expand arrows).

this much happier with Sony I have never been. the best decision getting a z3 was. I don’t want anything else from Sony after this Concept software.

I think the Sony clock 2 is new.

Usually, you get the analog, digital and the sony clock on 5.1.1

Actually I think Sony should just give us a function in PCC to let us
easily uninstall/install any of the Sony-specific features and services.
Much like the tool in Windows that allows us to remove or add Windows
    components and features. Yeah.

    Ahh ok thanks

It’s kind of possible, if you download the test ROM which can easily be found online and install it with flashtools it will work, and you will receive the updates, that’s what I did.

This build is great for the most part – running it on my Z3. I miss the dark clock, as I like lighter-colored backgrounds – I don’t know why they removed the dark options for each clock widget.

I’ve not been able to get the feedback app to work. It doesn’t sync, and it doesn’t show me outstanding items to test. Would love to contribute to the beta otherwise, though.

The main thing I love about this is that it’s the best of Sony – a beautiful take on Android, without all the cruddy bloatware they stick on the final version (Crackle, Facebook, Twitter, any number of goofy camera apps, Playstation store, etc). The beta is stripped down, super fast, and I love it. I will be disappointed when the final comes out and I’m stuck for 15 minutes disabling the extra app garbage.
