Xperia Concept MMB29V.Z1.3561_5Sony Mobile has released a small firmware update for the Concept for Android Marshmallow, which moves the build number to MMB29V.Z1.3561. The update includes the latest Wi-Fi firmware, Google security update (18 March 2016) and a fix for video recording when “Ok Google” is enabled.

However, the main new feature is a new app called InTouch, which replaces the Beta feedback app. The app allows users to communicate with Sony with any issues/feedback. This launch has coincided with a new Google+ community (click here), which is now open to all users running the Concept firmware, yes even those that have installed it unofficially. So now, all Concept users you provide feedback direct to Sony.

  • There was something wrong with the 3555 firmware where exchange client (gmail app in tmy case) was continously trying to connect to the server and draining the battery. Has anyone noticed something like this?

The update better be worth it… My rooted Z2 is performing so well i didn’t bother updating to Galaxy S7 edge, it’s end for me with Sony cause this year flagship seemed disappointing to me. Galaxy S8 next year for me.

  • Desu!

Im also using my 2 year old Z2, running Marshmallow beta. Running so well like new. I cant find so much reasons to upgrade to Z5. Although I wanted a fingerprint scanner.

And here am I, my Z2’s power ring came out so I had to switch over to the S7 Edge.

  • Blazing Mak

You switch over tho S7 edge only because the power ring?
    What a fuss.

    LOL !!!!
    Dick here ?!?!?!?
    Seriously ?

  • Alvin Zahran Majid

The waterproofness will still be gone

Sony Mobile will still be mucking around with this Marshmallow Concept silliness when competitors are moving to Android N.

Enjoy being unpaid software testers for obviously buggy/experimental software.

  • Bashar Shehab

Nobody is moving to android N -_- those are very-alpha stage of Android N are being tested on select NEXUS Devices.

  • Bashar Shehab

And again, I’ve to wait forever for this update to arrive..

  • Musharab

Ridiculous High Pricing for Z5 compared to Features Offered is One the Biggest Reasons for It’s FAIL.

  • Min

Firmware version ID was not found.

    Why is it happening!?

  • ric

    I’ve got the same problem.
