xperia-c5-ultra-marshmallowA few days ago we reported that the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual was receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow – it was an extremely limited rollout initially, only one variant and two regions had the update. Well Sony has now kicked off the Android Marshmallow update in earnest for the Xperia C5 Ultra across all four variants.

The Xperia C5 Ultra (E5553, E5506) is receiving build number 29.2.A.0.122, whilst the dual SIM variants (E5533, E5563) are receiving build number 29.2.B.0.122. FTF firmware files for each variant can be found below, along with the Marshmallow changelog.

They better give us parts of the X series like the m5 which got both x icons + some other refreshed ui and predictive autofocus. Lucky M5.C4/5 users got new ui and battery icon.

Anyone who has updated, know if the software is as glitchy as it was on the M4? My M4 got all laggy and battery life is a mess after MM. Even after a factory reset. I haven’t had a similar experience with the M5 tho

So according to you, it’s impossible for us to get all the goodies to our Z5 series phones from X series, which M5 already got?! Cool story bro. All those things will be avaikable for us with the next update I tell you…

I do really hope the Z5 gets all the goodies of X series hopefully on 7.0.
But what also annoys me more is the fact that the Z5 the April security patches and the oldest Xperia Home Launcher :/ (yes i could join beta, but i dont want to, i want it as stock )
