Guessed that it would be priced around 25k. As always, overpriced. Sony is the Apple of android’s, high price with zero marketing

Now days sony is only for sony fans not for other because other people not know what great technology sony make.
If sony really want to be trand maker or want rule the market Sony just need to go big for marketing.
Sony have every latest technology , but no one knows, that’s the problem with sony.
If Sony can’t go for marketing than Sony is just survival .

  • I am big fan of brand Sony but price for mobiles is always high. Where can i get all specification details of Xperia XA1 Plus?

This phone is worth it. The best value since M5. I bought it on a whim, actually intending to go for an ASUS or Gionee phone.

    – Sony Camera is back, and it truly is the king at the midrange level. Nothing at this price matches the rear camera output of the XA1 Plus (still images).
    – The 3.5mm output is so damn good! I’m using it with Audio Technica headphones and music never sounded better. And this is AFTER listening to the output of the Hi-Fi certified phones ZenFone 3 and LG G5.
    – The speaker is the loudest and clearest on an Xperia smartphone in recent times.
    – Dedicated microSD card slot with Dual SIM is a winner, even though 32GB internal storage may sound a bit less.
    – The Helio P20 is mostly a match for SD625, though Sony could have just have gone with the SD625. This phone rarely heats up to uncomfortable levels.
    – Front camera is excellent, though lacking flash. Had they just put the 16MP OIS selfie camera of the XAU and XA1U on this phone, it would have been the end of the overpriced Oppo and Vivo crap selling at similar rates.
    – Gorilla Glass finally in a midrange phone. This glass is very tough and needs NO screen protector unlike the old M and C series phones (including XA and XAU which were just the C series rebranded)
    – Interestingly, comes with Linux kernel 4.4 unlike a lot of SD powered and MTK powered phones in this price point. Hopefully, this is good news for future updates.

Took Sony long enough to release a midrange phone with a fingerprint scanner, but the Xperia XA1 Plus is officially Sony’s comeback phone in this segment. A month or two later it will drop to around 21K and it will be the best value at that price….

Dear Sony, please release this phone worldwide, market it everywhere and SUPPORT IT PROPERLY. I am aware it is made by Compal but it has Sony written all over it….
