Xperia L2 (Sony H43XX) renders leak

by XB on 2nd January 2018

in Rumours, Xperia L series

Twitter user @OnLeaks has a great track record when it comes to obtaining early CAD information from upcoming smartphones. He has managed to get hold of the CAD info for what is expected to be Sony’s new budget model, the Sony Xperia L2 (H4311, H4331), producing the renders you see below in conjunction with CompareRaja.in.

The rendered images show a handset that it is not too much of a departure from previous Sony designs, with a curved back. Apparently this model will come with a 5.5-inch display and feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The dimensions of the phone is 149.9 mm x 78.4 mm x 9.8 mm. From previous leaks, we know that the handset will come with 720p resolution, Bluetooth 4.2 and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. We’ll bring you more information as we have it.

Not a bad look for low end phone.

I hope this is not the design we will see for this year’s flagship. Because if it is, Sony will have a hard time selling it against the iPhones and the Galaxies. I like Sony’s design, that’s why I have stayed ever since owning a Sony Ericsson, until now that I own a Z5. But I am getting pretty bored now. Sony needs something that will excite us, the fans, and also those users of the other brands. I do not want to see Sony go. But it needs to help itself.

    Sony = disappointment
    I lost the hope

Bringing FP scanner to the entry level eh? (even though it is on the back, and not on the side, I guess side mounted ones will always be exclusive to flagships) Not bad, if it’s also priced competitively. Good job.

  • It reminds me of Sony Ericsson design!
I´m not expecting a new design to the low end models, only for the ultra-premium and premium. But i happy to see Sony include fingerprint sensor on every phone.

It reminds me the Sony Ericsson Vivaz! I used to got it and it is still working!

  • Oh!

It’s a low end phone, what do you expect? Bezeless 4K HDR OLED Display?

  • Wait …. Some sources said Xperia L2 will have Snapdragon 630 and bumped into 4 GB RAM instantly over 3 GB RAM , despite being its status is lower than XA2 series . How that even possible ?

  • H-R-K

    Another disappointment here.

    XA2 has 630 + 3GB…

L2 must be the 430, 435 or any Mediatek.

  • Nodar Sixarulidze

    No, L2 Has Snap630
But XA2 has more premium design, more best camera, more best screen, more best OS (android 8.0 vs 7.1.1) and other

  • Oh!

Pretty sure it looks better than the Samsung J7 Pro, as both phones are low end phones. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ab1600e18cdb8db41bf8ddb23f160f36d6a10411d94f765905f51fe07ddc43d4.jpg

We won’t know how ugly or how good the next flagship is going to look. So, be patience and wait for the official announcement.

  • Ryuzaki Raiga
