Sony Ericsson’s Xperia arc is armed with the 8.1MP Exmor R camera sensor. This back-illuminated CMOS sensor allows light directed onto the silicon from behind, which in theory should lead to enhanced low-level shooting.
To put this to the test, pestaola.gr shot a night video in HD whilst on the move in a taxi. The quality is very impressive with both lights and detail visible, although there is an element of noise that is probably largely unavoidable in a mobile. Check out the video after the jump.
