Xperia arc gets new ‘Sakura Pink’ colour in Japan

NTT DoCoMo has formally announced the Xperia arc SO-01C for the Japanese market. The handset will see pre-orders open on 6 March prior to its release on 24 March. All other details remain the same, but we are seeing a new colour added to the Xperia arc portfolio. Firmly targeted to the female audience, Sony Ericsson will launch a Sakura Pink variant of the Xperia arc alongside the Midnight Blue and Misty Silver models.

This is a very bright/vivid pink and certainly looks quite bold. Whilst this colour is exclusive to the Japanese market on release, it is expected to be released globally in the future. You can see a selection of pictures of the pink Xperia arc after the jump.
