Sony Ericsson fans have been patiently waiting for the company to resurrect the Cyber-shot imaging brand to its latest Android smartphones. Well judging by these leaked blurry-cam pictures below, it looks like SE may soon be fulfilling many wishes.
The images are not clear but show a touchscreen Sony Ericsson handset carrying the Cyber-shot logo on the front. Unfortunately there are no images of the back of the handset so we don’t know whether a xenon flash would be present (we assume it would) or whether this has optical zoom. The three buttons on the bottom of the phone would imply it would run Android, with the return, home and menu keys in the same order as the newest Xperia handsets. Obviously these could be fake, but there’s a good chance that SE will release a Cyber-shot Android handset at some point.
