We’ve been speculating recently as to when Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and Xperia PLAY users will get the update to Android 2.3.3. Well Recombu are reporting that the new Xperia range is set to receive the Android 2.3.4 update (currently only on Nexus S handsets) next week.
Not only that but Facebook integration that we’ve already discussed is set to be included too. The good news is that there will be customisation options regarding which Facebook features you end up enabling. Other changes are not known, but lets hope it fixes the audio sync/freeze video recording issues along with the random reboot problem that some are suffering from.
Update: Recombu has updated their post to say that Android 2.3.3 is due next week and not Android 2.3.4.
