Sony Ericsson has launched Smart Extras, a new breed of accessories targeted towards the Xperia range of smartphones. The two new Smart Extra accessories announced a few days back include the LiveDock multimedia docking station and LiveSound hi-fi headset. Both accessories will be available globally from Q3 2011.
The LiveDock is a docking station for your Xperia smartphone that allows you to charge your phone whilst launching a specific app automatically from the LiveWare manager application such as a desk clock or photo slideshow. The LiveSound headset has LiveKey control that allows you to access certain applications on your phone by a push of the button. It is constructed from solid metal housing and has a flat tangle-free wire along with a new generation of 6mm speaker drivers and a mic that combine great quality sound in smaller package.
