Box XperiaBox, specialists in cloud storage, have teamed up with Sony Ericsson to offer Xperia owners free 50GB of cloud storage for life. This is not the first time they have done this, Box currently offer 50GB cloud storage to HP Touchpad owners and is also offering the same storage to iPhone/iPad owners for a limited period. However, this is the first time they are offering this promotion on Android and it’s great to see this as an Xperia exclusive on the Android ecosystem.

Apparently all you need to do is to download the Box app in the Android Market and either sign up or log in with your previous Box account details using your Xperia phone. Once you have done this you should automatically have free 50GB of cloud storage. We’ve tried this on an Xperia arc and it is not working so far, so we’re not sure whether the promotion has started yet or not. According to the blurb, you have until December 31st 2012 to take advantage of this offer. Plenty of time then. Let us know in the comments if any of you have managed to get this working.
