in Rumours, Xperia active, Xperia go

The Sony ST27, codenamed Lotus, is believed to be the 2012 update to the Xperia active. The UAProf for the ST27i and ST27a variants have already been published and confirm our initial thoughts that the handset would run at FWVGA (480 x 854) resolution. No other specs are confirmed right now, but our guess suggests the use of the NovaThor U8500 chipset (1GHz dual-core) and a 3.5-inch display with 5MP camera.

Talking about the camera, the first camera sample from the ST27 has popped up on Picasaweb. The image is nothing exciting, just a picture of a blue bowl and confirms that the handset is running 6.0.B.3.104 firmware. Hopefully more news on this Xperia active successor will be forthcoming.
