Sony Mobile will indeed be unveiling some new Xperia handsets in Singapore later this month as previously reported. Sony Mobile will be holding a media event at its own location but during the days that the CommunicAsia tradeshow will be taking place. We recently received our invite to the event which confirms that it will be taking place at 10.30 (SGT) on Wednesday 20 June 2012.
The invite comes with the tagline “Let your imagination take flight” along with a picture of a woman’s face painted with different colours. The invite also talks about “new Xperia smartphones” – note the plural there. So it’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing a number of new Xperia smartphones being announced next week (if not sooner from the Sony Fast Forward Facebook campaign).
