The CyanogenMod 10 Alpha, based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, was released for the Sony Xperia S earlier today courtesy of the Team Free Xperia developer team. The FXP130 version brings CM10 with all basic functions working including Wi-Fi, data and Bluetooth, however the camera doesn’t work which is not a surprise at this early stage.
If you are wondering when CM10 for the 2011 range of Sony Xperia phones will be released, the Free Xperia Team says that it will be released as soon as all of the “bugs are ironed out”. Click here for more information on CM10 for the Sony Xperia S.
