Hopefully, the Sony Xperia builds for the stable version of CyanogenMod 9, based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, will be released by the CyanogenMod team tonight. CyanogenMod has confirmed that this will be the last version of CM9, as focus will now move to CM10 which is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The release is for the “majority of our ICS supported devices” so we hope the Sony Xperia devices are amongst them. This also means that CM9 nightlies will come to an end, but hopefully CM10 nightlies for Android Jelly Bean will be taking its place very soon.
