If you’re wondering how the Sony Xperia T (LT30p) TFT display fares against the Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy Nexus then have a browse below. The displays used in most of Sony Xperia smartphones are a bit underrated in our view. They work well in sunlight and have reasonable viewing angles whilst providing a more natural picture compared to AMOLED alternatives.
This combined with the Bravia Engine makes browsing photos and videos even better with improved contrast levels and sharpness. It looks like the Xperia T continues these traits with its latest 4.6-inch (720 x1280) display. Photos can be misleading depending on what conditions each is taken such as viewing angle and lighting, but it looks pretty clear to us that the Xperia T has the better viewing angle over the Galaxy Nexus and even appears to better it under direct light. Based on these photos alone, it looks like Xperia T comes up trumps.
