CyanogenMod has announced a new ‘M-Series’ of ROM builds that will be released on a monthly basis. The idea behind them is to make available a more stable build on a more frequent basis, sitting somewhere between the stable release and a nightly release. CyanogenMod plans to release new M-Series builds at the start of every month.
CyanogenMod says that the builds should be good enough for daily use. The program starts today with a number of devices getting the CyanogenMod 10 M1 build. Two Sony Xperia devices have been added to the list – the Xperia acro S and Xperia S, so if you have one of these handsets and want to try the latest release click here.
