Sony’s CES press conference taking place on 7 January 2013 [Update]

Sony’s 2013 CES press conference will be taking place in Las Vegas at 17.00 (Pacific Time) on Monday 7 January 2013. The conference is scheduled to last for 45 minutes. It is an invite only affair, but the event will also be live-streamed here, so you won’t have to miss out on any action.

This is the blurb relating to the event: “Sony will announce its newest innovations that through the convergence of hardware, content and network services deliver distinctive and unparalleled entertainment experiences.” So mark the date in your diaries, you can check out what time the event corresponds to your region below.

Update: Sony UK says that the CES press conference starts at 16:30 on January 7th in Las Vegas, USA. This would mean that all of the times below are out by 30 minutes. The official CES site says 17.00, so we don’t know who to believe here. We’ll update once we have a confirmation either way.
