A new Sony Xperia model number has appeared over at the Indonesian Postel website. The model number C6903 suggests that this is a high-end device, above the Xperia Z (C660X), and the last digit ‘3’ would suggest that it supports European LTE bands.
This model number follows on from other unidentified models such as the C6802 & C6833 that have been around for a while. We have previously been told that the C6907 model number was internally used for the Xperia Tablet Z Wi-Fi variant, so we’re not sure if this number has been re-deployed to a different device or whether it relates to the LTE SKU of the Xperia Tablet Z.
If we are looking at a different device, there is a good chance that this model number will be adopted by the upcoming Xperia Z Ultra (‘Togari’) or Honami handsets. We’ll bring you more as we have it.
