T-Mobile USA yesterday announced launch details for the Xperia Z (C6606). The handset will go on pre-order on the T-Mobile website on 16 July and then will be available on 17 July in stores and online. In terms of price, the Xperia Z will cost $99.99 upfront and then $20 per month for 24 months.
Two Xperia Z (C6606) colours will be available including black and purple. If you pre-order the device from T-Mobile, you will also receive a free Sony Wireless Bluetooth Speaker whilst stocks last.
If you don’t want to be tied to a contract, then the Xperia Z (C6606) is available right now sim-free for $579.99 via 38 Sony Store locations or the Sony Store website. For a limited time, you will also be able to get a free Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speaker through the Sony Store.
If you’re wondering how the T-Mobile Xperia Z (C6606) differs from the international version (C6602, C6603) , it mainly comes down to LTE support for T-Mobile’s bands. Another addition is T-Mobile branding on the back of the device, which is a shame as we’re never keen on carrier logos ruining the good look of a smartphone.
