The latest version of the Easy Rooting Toolkit for Xperia devices, now at v17, has added script support for both Linux and Mac. Legendary xda-developer DooMLoRD has also added support for a couple of new devices in the form of Xperia J and Xperia L. Support has also been added for the T-Mobile version of the Xperia Z (C6606). The rooting toolkit works on Sony Xperia devices with both locked and unlocked bootloaders. For a full list of supported devices click here.
