Sony is on the ball with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, not only have they already given us some confirmation of which handsets will be upgraded, they also now have the latest open source code (AOSP for Android 4.3) running on three Xperia devices – the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia Tablet Z.
This means developers can build and flash it using the AOSP device configuration on GitHub. As with previous early AOSP releases, there is a whole bunch of functionality that is not supported, therefore do not flash if you intend to use as a daily driver.
