We have seen a number of leaked pictures of the Sony ‘Honami’ C690X, but this is the first time we have seen some in-the-wild pictures of the white version. To get a sense of scale, there is also a picture comparing it against the iPhone 5.
The pictures show the handset from a number of different angles including a side profile, highlighting a slightly thicker model versus the Xperia Z. That should be no problem to many if it does indeed house a 3,000mAh battery as previously rumoured. We also get to see the magnetic docking pins which sit adjacent to a port flap. The top of the handset is also shown revealing the open 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of imaging, the 20.7MP camera sensor is confirmed once again through the branding on the back of the handset (pointing to a 1/2.3-inch sensor with G Lens) as well a display shot of the UI confirming the same. We look forward to finding out more at IFA on 4 September.
