The Sony Xperia Z1 will start shipping from UK retailers today. A number of retailers including Clove, Handtec and Digital Phone Company have confirmed that stock has arrived, ready for shipment to customers. There is a fly in the ointment though, as only the black model is arriving today, the white Xperia Z1 has been pushed back one week and is now expected on 23 September.
Not all retailers appear to have stock today, Amazon UK still has a release date of 20 September date, whilst the official Sony Mobile and Sony UK websites will start shipping at the end of this month. The UK operators should start shipping the handset over the next week. We would expect other European markets to also take delivery of the Xperia Z1 in the coming week. If you’ve pre-ordered the handset, let us know when you’re expecting to get hands on.
